In the Society, Officials decide. Who you love. Where you work. When you die. Cassia has always trusted their choices, but she begins to question just how perfect her world really is when she notices things are not what they seem. As Cassia begins to doubt the Society’s infallibility, she is faced with an impossible choice: between Xander and Ky, between the only life she’s known and a path that no one else has dared to follow.

Basic Robot Building
November 3rd, 6:00pm to 7:00pm at IRC Main Library

Ever wanted to learn how build your own simple robot? This program, for fourth through eighth graders ONLY, will have students build their own Jitterbug Robots.

In the process, you’ll get to be creative as well as learn some very basic circuitry and robotics which will hopefully inspire you to learn more about the field.

Registration IS required as supplies are very limited for this FREE class.

Never-Ending Storybook Project @ IRC Main Library

Due to popular demand we have added three new characters to our Never Ending Storybook. In addition to Gorilla Ice, Kaia, and Gidget, we now have Lily, McGrath, and Maxwell.

Elementary aged children can participate by checking out one of the six Character Bags. Each bag includes one stuffed character and profile along with a copy of the story and the materials needed to create your own page for the storybook.

Children are asked to continue the story in one or two paragraphs, take a photo or draw a picture of their character and return their addition to the book, as well as the rest of the packet to the IRC Main Library within two weeks.

For more information contact Hollie McDougall at 772-226-3080.

Adopt-A-Shelf Program

Love the library? Help us out and Adopt –A- Shelf. Volunteers donate time to keep one shelf of the library neat and tidy. Pick up a brochure at Brackett Library or call 772-226-3080 for more information.
