Summer's almost here! Join us at all the branches of the Indian River County Library System for great programs and awesome books!

Pre-schoolers can never get enough play in Story Time, so we made a weekly musical program out of it!.

Join Ms. Rebecca, for challenging, but seriously fun workouts for 1st through 5th graders. Registration is not required. Children must wear comfortable clothes and sneakers and bring a bottle of water.


Art Club


Brackett Library

Wednesdays 3:00pm

Mondays 1:30pm


Led by Art teacher, Miss Jennifer, 1st through 5th graders will create a different piece of art, using different media each week. Each session will focus on a different famous Artist and their methods, as it relates to that week’s project.

Registration IS required for this program. This program will begin on June 12th



Summer Adventure Book Club

A weekly adventure-themed book club for 8 to 12 year olds. Join us for discussion, crafts and games.



Kid-Fit

Kid-Fit is a fun physical fitness class for 3 to 6 year olds. Children must wear sneakers, .




Lego Club

Each week, 1st through 5th grade Lego Enthusiasts will be challenged to create new and innovative Lego designs and creations.

Donations of Legos are needed for the North County Library.

Story Times at the branches of the IRC Library System feature storytelling, creative dramatics, fingerplays, rhymes, song, dance and a simple craft.

Registration is not required.



Story Time @ the IG Center!


Every Thursday at 10:00am at the IRC Intergenerational Recreation Center (www.ircig.com)

Children ages 2 to 5 and their families/caregivers are invited to attend this free program. Each week will feature a different theme and include stories, songs, creative dramatics, crafts and more.

Coding Club


North IRC Library

Mondays 3:00 to 4:30pm

7 to 12 year olds can join us for an informal, learn-by-doing club for kids who want to learn more about coding. This club will utilize game play via code.org and Scratch to encourage self-learning and collaboration with others.

Registration is required.



Baby Sign Language


IRC Main Library

Mondays 10:00am to 11:00am


The Sign Language classes are informal, fun and educational experiences for birth to two year olds and their families.

The programs focus primarily on rhymes and songs and learning of common sign language words and phrases.

Registration is not required for these programs.
