Karl Joanni sent us this and the next two photos. He wrote: "Most, but not all, mornings I am down by the lagoon
so I have many pictures as good or better than this depending on your point of view. I can never decide
which to delete as I love the beautiful sunrises. Now that I have discovered Google's free program Picasa2,
many of the problem exposures are repairable." Thanks, Karl, for these great pictures.

They're everywhere. This squirrel was in Dale Wimbrow Park.

 

Untouched Florida still thrives next to this lookout point on the St. Sebastian River just north of the County Road 512 bridge.

 

In the Indian River Lagoon, a pelican and a dolphin do their thing side by side.

 

This pelican was looking for something to eat on the lagoon shore at Riverview Park.

 

If you're patient, manatees will come over to you in the St. Sebastian River.

 

Celeste McWiiliams says tree frogs take shelter of her jade plant on her back porch during rain storms.

 

Get away from it all - take a stroll along our seashore.

 

This magic forest grows next to the parking lot at Treasure Shores beach on the barrier island.
