News: August 15, 2008
The annual summer non-fiction sale at the Friends of the Library Used Book Depot continues all this week. The half-price sale will include books in the art, business, environment, history and war sections which are regularly priced from $1 to $13. The non-fiction categories at the Depot are rarely on sale, so this is a good time to add to home libraries or to look for special holiday gifts.
For those who have not visited the Depot, they are a non-profit bookstore with neatly arranged fiction, non-fiction, paperback and children's books, as well as audio-visual media, puzzles, maps, etc. The Book Depot, 1670 14th Ave., is open 10-4 Monday through Saturday. All books and materials are donated by the public and all proceeds are given to the Indian River County Main Library. Donations are gratefully accepted until 3:00 p.m. each day they are open. Call 562-0043 for more information.
