INTERNET SIGN-UP PROCEDURE
Sign our guest register located at the genealogy reference desk.
Request a computer from staff or volunteer. Tell them if you want a specific computer.
You will be given a computer and pin number.
If the screen is blank, move the mouse and you will see a box where you will enter the pin number.
Press enter. If you get a "windows" screen, click on the Internet Explorer ICON.
Use the bookmarks page to navigate between the library subscriptions and free web site. URL's have been bookmarked for many states and foreign countries.
Time limit is one hour. You may continue to use it if others are NOT waiting.
Access to the Indian River County Library System Catalog is available from your home or office.
When searching for genealogy materials, please note that all items with the area designation of R-GEN or R-FH before the dewey decimal number will be located in our department. Other designations such as R-FL, REF, FL, JF, E, etc. are located in other departments of the library.
